Everyone should pay a copayment when they submit an application. Most of the people using our program are low-income, so we try to keep the copay as low as possible.
We do have a small fund that allows us to offer a limited number of reduced copayments, which you can request using this form. We will get back to you within several days to advise if we are able to reduce the copay for any of your pets.
Our normal copayments are $50 for a cat and $75 for a dog. There could be additional charges due the day of surgery if your pet requires a rabies vaccination or has certain medical conditions such as pregnancy, heat or undescended testicles. These extra charges are your responsibility.
