If medical conditions are diagnosed during the pre-exam or surgery, additional charges may apply.  These charges are payable by the owner to the veterinary clinic at time of discharge.

Due to the increased chance of excessive bleeding if a female dog is heartworm positive, any female dog over six months old must have been recently heartworm tested (within 3 months) or obtain a negative heartworm test PRIOR to surgery.  Tricounty Veterinary will perform the heartworm test for a reduced price of $25 to Fix Them All clients for female dogs over six months old preparing to be spayed.
